Jo Derbyshire

Jo Derbyshire leads Innova Grants, having secured over £50 million for innovative projects. With a law degree and 25 years in IP commercialization, Jo’s career spans roles at Loughborough University and the University of Nottingham Innovation Park. She founded and managed the Loughborough Innovation Centre and Loughborough University Enterprises Ltd., spinning out over 30 companies. Jo also co-founded the Lachesis Fund and established Cresco Innovation, a grant writing firm acquired by Inventya in 2021.
